Setting: Early morning, in a taxi on the way to the airport.
Mia:
Andrei, are you sure we didn’t forget anything? Passports, tickets, my sunglasses?
Andrei:
Relax, Mia. I checked everything twice. Passports are in my backpack, tickets are on your phone, and your sunglasses... well, they’re on your head!
Mia:
Oh! (laughs) Right. I just want everything to go smoothly. What time is our flight again?
Andrei:
It’s at 9:30 AM, and we’re perfectly on schedule. The driver said we’ll reach the airport in 20 minutes.
Mia:
Great. Did you remember to bring the power bank? I don’t want my phone to die during check-in.
Andrei:
Of course, it’s in my bag. You’re worrying too much!
Mia:
I can’t help it! Traveling makes me excited and nervous at the same time. Do you think the check-in line will be long?
Andrei:
Probably not. We’re early enough. Plus, we already checked in online, so we just need to drop off our luggage.
Mia:
Right, good thinking. By the way, do you know the gate number?
Andrei:
It’s Gate 15. I checked the boarding pass. Once we’re inside, we’ll have time for a coffee or snack before boarding.
Mia:
Perfect! Oh, and I hope the window seat is mine.
Andrei:
Of course, I chose it for you when booking. I’ll take the aisle seat.
Mia:
Thanks, Andrei. You’re the best!
Andrei:
Anything for you, Mia. Now, let’s just enjoy the ride and get ready for our adventure!
At the Airport – Checking Tickets
Mia:
Good morning! We have a flight to Paris at 10:30. Here are our tickets.
Check-in Agent:
Good morning! May I see your passports, please?
Andrei:
Sure, here you go.
Check-in Agent:
Thank you. Let me check... Everything is fine. Do you have any checked baggage?
Mia:
Yes, we have two suitcases.
Check-in Agent:
Perfect. Please place them on the scale. (checks the weight) Excellent, both are within the weight limit. Here are your boarding passes. Your gate is A12, and boarding starts at 9:45.
Andrei:
Thank you! Is the gate far from here?
Check-in Agent:
Not at all. Just follow the signs to Terminal A, and it’s about a 5-minute walk. Have a pleasant flight!
Mia:
Thank you so much!

Of course. Here are our passports, and this is my credit card.
